Physician - MD/DO - Cardiac Electrophysiologist

About the role

A physician specializing in Cardiac Electrophysiology is needed to join our team at WI-SSM Health Outpatient Center-Madison in Madison, WI. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing complex cardiac arrhythmias and will be responsible for providing comprehensive care to patients.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat various cardiac arrhythmias using advanced electrophysiological techniques
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans
• Conduct interventional procedures such as ablation and implantation of pacemakers and defibrillators
• Participate in clinical research and contribute to the advancement of cardiac electrophysiology

Requirements

• M.D. or D.O. degree from an accredited medical school
• Current medical license to practice medicine in Wisconsin
• Completion of a residency program in Internal Medicine or Pediatrics
• Completion of a fellowship program in Cardiac Electrophysiology
• Experience with electrophysiology procedures and pacemaker/defibrillator implantation
