Responsibilities
- Drive patient referrals and streamline provider-to-provider communication.
- Enhance University Radiology's reputation in the community.
- Support and execute the URG Marketing Plan.
- Identify opportunities to build demand for services.
- Work with and grow relationships with referring physicians and organizations.
- Develop relationships and document activities through call reports, expense reports, and CRM databases.
- Manage call lists and grow existing client lists through scheduled appointments and cold calls.
- Strive for 10 to 15 contacts per day, focusing on face-to-face interactions.
- Educate referring offices and promote URG radiology services.
- Network and build relationships with patients and the physician/medical community.
- Generate and analyze Monthly Referral Reports for trends and monitor physician referrals.
- Identify and address issues affecting physician referrals.
- Document problem areas and recommend solutions to Sales Team Leader and Director of Marketing.
- Identify potential opportunities to increase demand for URG services.
- Monitor and document EMR connectivity needs for referring physicians.
- Identify competition in the area and document their strengths, weaknesses, and capabilities.
- Report competitive advantages to Sales Manager and adjust positioning as necessary.
- Register non-viewing physicians on PACS and train them on its use.
- Manage EMR connectivity for referring physicians as needed.
- Generate and analyze Monthly Referral Reports for ROI analysis.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 5-10 years’ experience as a healthcare sales professional.
- Spanish speaking preferred.
Qualifications
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Positive can-do attitude towards customers, coworkers, management, and patients.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to recognize potential problems and provide fast solutions.
- Proficient computer skills in software such as MS Excel, Outlook, CRM, database manipulation, and report generating.
- Strong ability to perform many tasks simultaneously.
- Well-groomed, outgoing, approachable, and personable demeanor.
- Available and willing to travel within the tristate area.
- Own a reliable vehicle and possess a good driving record.
