Salary range: $100k-$115k
Position Summary
The Physician Liaison is responsible for supporting the development and execution of a territory-specific strategy to enhance communication and engagement with healthcare providers.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain positive, professional relationships with referring providers and their staff to support coordinated patient care.
- Conduct regular, appropriate outreach through peer-to-peer interactions, scheduled visits, follow-ups, email communication, and phone calls, in accordance with applicable policies and procedures.
- Utilize tools such as Salesforce and OneAnalytics to assess referral patterns, monitor patient volumes, and support strategic planning within the assigned territory.
- Accurately and promptly document outreach activities in Salesforce to support transparency and performance tracking.
- Identify and communicate potential operational barriers or process issues that may impact referral workflows, and collaborate on solutions as appropriate.
- Serve as a liaison between referring providers and internal teams, ensuring clarity of communication and continuity of care coordination.
- Support the organization of educational events or community-based programs involving clinical staff, in accordance with compliance standards and company policy.
- Collect and communicate relevant market insights, such as emerging trends or potential gaps in care access, with appropriate internal stakeholders.
- Collaborate closely with leadership, including the OneOncology team, to ensure alignment with strategic goals and initiatives.
- Participate in assigned special projects or organizational initiatives as needed.
- Perform additional responsibilities as assigned, consistent with the scope of the role and organizational needs.
Key Competencies
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient with CRM and market analytics reporting, preferably Salesforce.
- Ability to pull general analytical territory reports associated with the appropriate reporting tools and job functions.
- Strong knowledge of both Oncology and Non-Oncology Infusion Treatments (a plus).
- Ability to work cooperatively.
- Initiative-taking, solution-oriented, and empathic to our patient population.
- Experience with marketing and communications.
- Strong computer skills; in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Comfortable traveling locally 80% of the work week.
- Easily adjust to change.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree and 3-5 years of relevant experience within Oncology or the healthcare industry.
- May consider without bachelor’s degree with additional relevant experience of 4+ years (equaling 8 years of experience).
