Physician - Interventional Pain

About the role

Ochsner Health is seeking multiple BC/BE Anesthesiologists or PM&R Physicians, fellowship trained in Interventional Pain Management, to join our expanding Interventional Pain Medicine program in the Greater New Orleans area. The interventional pain program is a component of the Department of Anesthesiology, which offers a fully accredited residency and pain fellowship program. Located in the heart of Greater New Orleans, the area offers a family‑oriented community with diverse cultural, culinary, artistic, and musical experiences, plus excellent shopping, recreation, schools, and libraries in Metairie.

Responsibilities

• Provide interventional and comprehensive pain management care in outpatient and perioperative settings.
• Develop relationships within an expanding referral network.
• Commit to teaching and/or research activities as part of an academic program.
• Utilize comprehensive electronic medical records for documentation and patient care.

Qualifications

• Board certified or board eligible in Anesthesiology or Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation.
• Fellowship training in Interventional Pain Management.
• Strong interest in chronic pain management.
• Willingness to engage in teaching and/or research.
