Physician - Internal Medicine
About the role
The incumbent will work as a member of the Primary Care Service at the Jack C Montgomery VA Medical Center, Ernest Childers, McAlester, Bartlesville, Claremore, and Vinita VA Outpatient Clinics. The physician is expected to assess the physical and psychosocial status of patients, collaborate with other services, and manage various health conditions.
Responsibilities
- Assess and manage the physical and psychosocial status of patients
- Collaborate with other services to provide comprehensive medical care
- Manage acute and chronic conditions of assigned patients
- Document all examinations and procedures in the patient's electronic medical record
Requirements
The incumbent must have a current, full and unrestricted license to practice medicine or surgery in the United States. They must also have completed residency training in an accredited program leading to board certification.

Skills
Proficiency in spoken and written English is required. Additional preferred experience includes women's health experience and board eligibility/certification in appropriate specialties.

Monday through Friday, 8am to 4:30pm. Telework 1 day per month.
