Physician: Intensivist
Summary
LifeBridge Health consists of Sinai Hospital of Baltimore, Northwest Hospital, Carroll Hospital, Levindale Hebrew Geriatric Center and Hospital, and Grace Medical Center. The Department of Medicine, Division is seeking a full-time, highly engaged physician to join our Critical Care team at Sinai Hospital of Baltimore and Northwest Hospital.
About the Role
The position offers the challenge of working in two different ICUs—one is a teaching hospital and the other is a community hospital in Baltimore County. This opportunity allows the opportunity to provide inpatient pulmonology coverage, if desired.
Responsibilities
- Work approximately 13-14 twelve-hour shifts monthly, including a combination of days, nights, and weekends.
- Provide in-house coverage for ICU patients.
- Enjoy the reward of teaching and mentoring medical students and residents.
- Perform critical care procedural skills including central line insertion with ultrasound guidance, arterial catheter insertion, IO insertion, thoracentesis, paracentesis, lumbar puncture, small and large bore chest tubes, intubation, and bedside ultrasound.
- Manage patient case mix including both routine/moderate acuity and complex/high acuity patients.
Requirements
- Critical Care Fellowship Required
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Critical Care Medicine required
- BE/BC in Pulmonology preferred but not required
- Maryland Medical License without restrictions
- Current CDS and DEA license
- BLS and ACLS certification
- Must work well as part of a team

Pay
$200k - $500k base salary dependent on specialty, board certification & experience, with opportunity for additional incentive compensation if applicable
Schedule
