PHYSICIAN - CARDIAC INTENSIVIST
About the role
The prospective candidate will join a collaborative team of cardiologists, surgeons, advanced practice providers, and bedside staff. The role involves managing patients after cardiovascular surgery and advanced complex cardiac medical patients alongside a team of NPs, fellows, attendings, and surgeons.
Responsibilities
- Manage patients post-cardiovascular surgery
- Treatment of advanced complex cardiac medical patients
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
- Perform standard intensivist care procedures
Requirements
- Fellowship training or attending experience in critically complex cardiac and cardiovascular patients
- Board Certification in Critical Care Medicine
- Proficiency with standard intensivist care procedures
Qualifications
Candidates must have experience in fellowship training or as an attending with critically complex cardiac and cardiovascular patients. They should also be proficient with standard intensivist care procedures such as central lines, arterial lines, S-Q catheter, chest tube insertion, etc.
Skills
Outstanding skills in critical care medicine and the ability to work effectively in a team environment are essential.
