Physician - Pediatric Cardiac Intensivist
About the role
Ochsner Children’s Hospital is seeking board certified/eligible Pediatric Cardiac Intensivists trained in Critical Care Medicine or Cardiology with advanced training in Cardiac Critical Care or significant experience in Pediatric Cardiac Critical Care.
Responsibilities
- Approximately 300 cardiac surgical cases performed each year and growing!
- Only heart transplant and ventricular assist device program in the state
- Complex Cardiac Congenital Cath program APP supported team, with goals to expand to 24/7 coverage
- Multiple advanced cardiology subspecialties, including EP, advanced cardiac imaging, and ACHD
Requirements
- Board Certified/Eligible in Pediatric Cardiac Intensive Care or Cardiology
- Advanced Training in Cardiac Critical Care or Significant Experience in Pediatric Cardiac Critical Care
Qualifications
- Experience with pediatric cardiac critical care
- Knowledge of advanced cardiology subspecialties
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
