Physician Informatics Executive

About the role

The Physician Informatics Executive supports Federal and Commercial clients advancing clinical informatics initiatives to enhance care delivery and patient outcomes. This role requires deep expertise in clinical care, health informatics, executive leadership, and change management to drive organizational transformation.

Responsibilities

• Drive end-user adoption of EHR implementations
• Resolve implementation challenges
• Optimize workflows using data-driven solutions
• Support evidence-based decision-making, regulatory adherence, and long-term strategic objectives
• Evaluate and recommend informatics solutions to improve patient safety and clinical excellence
• Liaise between clinicians and IT teams to translate complex technical ideas into practical recommendations

Requirements

• US Citizenship with ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance
• Extensive travel required; willing and able to travel ~80%
• 10+ years of total combined related work experience and completed higher education
• 5+ years of clinical experience
• 2+ years of Health Informatics experience
• Previous experience working with Oracle Health (Cerner) Electronic Health Record is strongly preferred
• Proven leadership in change management and project execution
• Excellent communicator, fostering collaboration across all levels
• Passionate about improving healthcare through informatics and technology
• M.D. (Doctor of Medicine), D.O. (Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine) or degree in related field
