Physician Hospitalist

About the role

The position is a hospital-employed hospitalist with a 7 on 7 off schedule from 7 pm – 7 am. It is open in an ICU with 24-hour intensivist support and offers procedure opportunities. The patient census is manageable, and there is good sub-specialty support.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of hospitalized patients under the supervision of an attending physician
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Assess and document patient progress and needs
• Participate in rounds and consultations as needed

Requirements

• Board-certified Internal Medicine or Family Practice
