Physician Hospitalist

About the role

Board-certified or board-eligible internal medicine physicians are encouraged to apply. Local residency is required due to call coverage responsibilities. This is a hospital-employed position with competitive hourly compensation.

Schedule

• Block schedule working 5 – 7 consecutive shifts
• Flexible start times

Setting

• Low-acuity, low-volume critical access hospital with no ICU or procedures
• Not-for-profit community hospital serving the Stowe Area of Vermont
• Specialties on-site include general surgery, orthopedics, cardiology, and neurology
• APPs onsite 2 pm – 11 pm; overnight call reserved for true emergencies only
