The Opportunity

Vituity is seeking Board Eligible/Certified Internal Medicine or Family Medicine physicians. Providers who are clinically competent, have excellent bedside manners, and are collegial with staff and colleagues are desired. Candidates wanting to work in an academic setting with current residents are preferred. A current VA state license is a plus.

About the Role

Bon Secours St. Mary’s Hospital – Richmond, Virginia is a 391-bed hospital with 34 closed-ICU beds and 48 ED beds. It averages 26 day admits and 24 night admits per day. On-site labs and imaging are available. No procedures are required, and the ICU runs all codes. EM support is also provided by Vituity.

St. Mary’s is the first community hospital in Richmond to achieve Magnet® Recognition by the American Nurses Credentialing Center for nursing excellence in 2008. It is accredited by The Joint Commission for centers of excellence in heart failure, heart attack, hip and knee joint replacement, and primary stroke center. Pay

Estimated annual base compensation of $275,000 – $900,000, depending on site, specialty, clinical volume, schedule, and experience. Compensation for part-time and per diem roles is prorated based on clinical hours worked. In addition, Vituity physicians participate in our partnership model from day one, which includes profit distributions, equity ownership, and K-1 tax advantages. Total compensation including partnership income varies by site and may significantly exceed the range shown.
