About the role
Seeking a board-certified or eligible Hospice and Palliative Medicine physician to join an academic palliative care team.
Responsibilities
- Provide inpatient palliative care consultations at medical centers
- Collaborate with physicians, social workers, chaplains, and community hospice staff
- Participate in interdisciplinary rounds
- Teach medical students, residents, and fellows
- Contribute to quality improvement and program development
- Opportunities for outpatient clinic involvement and growth
Qualifications
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Hospice and Palliative Medicine
- Knowledge of hospice and serious illness care
- Strong communication skills
Schedule
Primarily Monday to Friday, with no weekends or call.
