Physician (Home Based Primary Care Medical Director)

About the role

For our client, we are seeking a Physician (Home Based Primary Care Medical Director) to join the team of a leader in the Education, Government & Non-Profit space. This remote leadership role is focused on guiding home-based primary care services for medically complex patients who benefit from care delivered in the home. The physician will oversee clinical operations, support staff, and help ensure high-quality care delivery across the program. This position also requires close collaboration with interdisciplinary colleagues to strengthen patient care, address concerns, and support education for medical staff.

Location: Remote – US based candidates only; no visa sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

• Oversee clinical supervision of home-based primary care program staff
• Manage overall clinical care for patients served through the home-based primary care program
• Improve medical systems to support quality care delivery
• Monitor care appropriateness for patients in the program
• Collaborate on patient complaints and unusual occurrences
• Conduct home visits to patients when necessary
• Formulate educational programs for medical staff

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship required
• Doctor of Medicine degree from an accredited institution
• Current, unrestricted medical license in the U.S.
• Completed residency training in an accredited program
• Proficiency in spoken and written English
• Experience in geriatrics or elder care preferred
• Experience working with interdisciplinary teams preferred

Pay

$180,000 – $220,000 annually
