Physician, Gynecologic Oncology

About the role

The successful candidate will join MemorialCare Medical Group’s oncology team at MemorialCare Cancer Institute Women’s Surgery & Oncology – Laguna Hills and Fountain Valley.

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial patient consultations, in both inpatient and office settings
• Perform gynecologic oncology surgeries, providing pre/post-surgery oversight
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including gynecologists, oncologists, urologists, general surgeons, and primary care physicians
• Facilitate patient access to medical care through appropriate referrals
• Foster collaborative relationships with referring providers and contribute to the further development of the service line

Requirements

• Board-certified (or eligible) in Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Completion of a board-approved fellowship program in Gynecologic Oncology
• Robotic training and experience
• Eligible for an unrestricted California medical license
• DEA, BLS/ACLS
• Epic EMR experience is a plus
