About the role
The Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology at MetroHealth Medical Center, Cleveland, Ohio is seeking an additional faculty member for their Division of Gynecologic Oncology.
Responsibilities
- Engage in clinical practice, teaching, and research
- Develop and maintain strong interpersonal and teaching skills
- Be Board Certified or a candidate for Certification in Gynecologic Oncology, and eligible for licensure in the State of Ohio
- Contribute to the education of MetroHealth’s Ob/Gyn Residents and Case Western Reserve University medical students
- Participate in basic and/or translational research and collaborations within MetroHealth Cancer Center’s Cancer Biology program, Population Health Research Institute, and Case Comprehensive Cancer Center
- Collaborate on Gynecology Oncology Group and industry-sponsored clinical trials
- Utilize resources such as the MetroHealth System’s CTSA-Clinical Research Unit and Center for Reproductive Health
Requirements
- Excellent interpersonal and teaching skills
- Board Certification or eligibility for certification in Gynecologic Oncology
- Licensure in the State of Ohio
Qualifications
- Academic rank within the Department of Reproductive Biology at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine commensurate with qualifications and experience
- Dedicated research time and support available
