About the role
Bread-and-butter general surgery practice.
Call schedule of 10 days per month.
Two days per week in operating room.
See 30 patients daily in clinic.
Academic affiliation with medical school.
Teaching opportunities with students and residents.
Join established team of two general surgeons.
Responsibilities
- Perform general surgical procedures.
- Manage patient care in the clinic setting.
- Collaborate with academic partners for teaching and research.
- Participate in call schedule and operating room duties.
Requirements
- Board-certified or board-eligible required.
Qualifications
- Strong clinical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with academic medicine and teaching.
Skills
- Proven ability to manage a busy caseload.
- Effective teamwork and collaboration.
- Ability to teach and mentor medical students and residents.
