About the role

Hospital‑employed position at a critical access hospital in rural Wyoming. The role is a solo practice supported by one mid‑level APP, offering a flexible call structure where call is only for existing patients and there is no emergency department coverage.

Responsibilities

• Perform core procedures including upper and lower scopes and gallbladder surgery.
• Manage a solo general surgery practice with support from a mid‑level APP.
• Ship out cases that fall outside the surgeon’s preferred scope of practice.

Requirements

• Board‑certified or board‑eligible general surgeon.
• Minimum three (3) years of post‑training experience.
• Experience in small, rural general surgery settings.
• No visa sponsorship available.
