About the opportunity

Join 1 existing general surgeon in a well-established, hospital-employed practice in Selma, Alabama. Selma offers a host of cultural opportunities, public and private educational options (4 public and 3 private high schools), and the comfort of a small community, yet is only 50 miles west of Montgomery and approximately 80 miles south of Birmingham.

Responsibilities

• Bread-and-butter general surgery with scopes required; no robotics
• Call schedule: 10 days per month on a 1:3 call rotation
• Academic affiliation with a family medicine residency program

Requirements

• Experience required
• Board-certified or board-eligible candidates considered
• DEA required
