This position is in the heart of the legendary Mississippi Delta, halfway between Memphis, Tennessee and Jackson, Mississippi. Cleveland combines the charm of a small town with the educational and cultural opportunities of a much larger city.

Responsibilities

• Join 2 established general surgeons
• Hospital-employed position with comprehensive benefits
• Call 1:3 schedule with additional call opportunities
• Bread and butter general surgery with scopes required
• New graduates and experienced surgeons welcome
• Strong mentorship program for new graduates
• Hospital rated A for safety by The Leapfrog Group

Requirements

Commensurate with experience.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree
• Current medical license in good standing
• Passing scores on all required exams

Skills

• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong surgical skills
