About the role
Join 4 other general surgeons and 3 APPs in a well-established surgical team at a major trauma center affiliated with WVU Medicine.
Responsibilities
- Manage a mix of general surgery cases, including those involving major trauma
- Utilize 2 robotic surgery systems available on-site
- Work a manageable call schedule of 6 days per month with additional call compensated
- Participate in a friendly and affordable community with festivals, fairs, and cook-offs
Requirements
- Board-certified or board-eligible candidates only
- No visa sponsorship available
Qualifications
- Experience with scopes is preferred but not required
- Strong commitment to patient care and community involvement
Skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Interest in academic medical center opportunities
