Physician General Surgery

About the role

You will enjoy living and working in northern Vermont, a highly livable area with low crime, near ski resorts and plenty of natural beauty. The position is a hospital‑employed role at a critical access hospital, joining two established General Surgeons in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Bread‑and‑butter General Surgery: scopes, minimally invasive surgery (MIS), laparoscopic procedures, hernia repairs, and gallbladder surgeries.

Requirements

• Board‑certified or board‑eligible General Surgeon.
• Traditional surgical approach; no robotic surgery requirements.

Schedule

• 4‑day work week with one dedicated OR day.
• Call schedule of 1:4, shared with the CMO and a per‑diem surgeon.
