Responsibilities

• Practice in the areas of genetics for pediatric patients.
• Practice in a rapidly growing academic teaching clinic with appropriate guidance and supervision of the board-certified geneticist.
• Provide excellent patient care.
• Be actively involved in teaching medical students and residents.
• Offer a mix of inpatient consults, telemedicine, and clinic services.
• Administer the state newborn screening lab.

Qualifications

• Candidate must have an MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent and be eligible for a state medical license.
• Successful candidate must have completed a pediatric residency program.
• Successful candidates must be board certified / eligible in pediatrics.
• Previous experience in genetics is not required.
• Pediatricians at the mid-career level looking for opportunities to practice precision medicine are encouraged to apply.
