Responsibilities
- Provide inpatient and outpatient consultative care for children with known or suspected genetic conditions.
- Partner with medical and surgical colleagues to serve children with complex conditions in multidisciplinary programs.
- Teach medical students, residents, and allied health students.
- Engage in clinical and translational research opportunities.
- Collaborate with institutional stakeholders to drive Pediatric Precision Medicine initiatives.
Requirements
- Board Certification and Board Eligibility in Clinical Genetics.
- Experience in the evaluation, diagnosis, and ongoing care of patients with a variety of genetic disorders, including congenital anomalies, congenital heart disease, chromosomal disorders, autism, mitochondrial disease, and cancer.
- Expertise in prenatal genetic counseling and newborn screening.
Qualifications
- MD or DO degree.
- Completion of an accredited residency program in Pediatrics.
- Completion of an accredited fellowship program in Clinical Genetics.
