Physician - Gastroenterology - inpatient
About the Role
We are seeking a full-time Gastroenterologist to join our GI Hospitalist team in Staten Island, New York. This opportunity focuses on inpatient gastroenterology in a supportive community hospital environment with strong resident and nursing support.
The GI Hospitalist works a 1 week on / 1 week off schedule, providing 24-hour service coverage while typically working (scoping and rounding) approximately 6–8 hours per day. Overnight emergencies are uncommon, and residents are available to assist with patient care.
Position Highlights

Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a board-certified or board-eligible Gastroenterologist who is comfortable managing the breadth of general inpatient GI.
