Physician, Gastroenterology

About the role

We are looking for a BC/BE gastroenterologist to join our expanding practice at the Burnsville (MN) specialty center. Our expanding team provides outpatient procedural and clinic services across the Twin Cities metro and also in Western Wisconsin.

Responsibilities

• Full-Time 1.0 FTE: 4.5 working days per week
• Complete screening and diagnostic procedures
• Maintain key working relationships with patients and families, Gastroenterology team members, Administration, and unit staff
• Participate in the inpatient general gastroenterology service (3-4 weeks per year), which is supported by medical students, residents, University of Minnesota GI Fellows, and Advanced Practice Providers.

Requirements

• BC/BE certification in Gastroenterology
• Current Minnesota Medical License
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree
• Completion of an accredited ACGME/ACGME-approved residency program in Gastroenterology
• Experience in outpatient procedural and clinic services
• Experience in inpatient general gastroenterology service

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
