Physician - Gastroenterology

Role Overview This position is for a BC/BE Gastroenterologist with expertise in gastrointestinal motility disorders. The physician will join a multidisciplinary motility program, managing complex gut-brain interaction disorders, performing and interpreting diagnostic studies, and providing outpatient and inpatient care. Responsibilities include outpatient clinics, endoscopy, teaching medical students, residents, and fellows, and participating in research and program development. The role offers opportunities for educational leadership within a regional referral center with high clinical volumes, collaborating with various specialties to deliver comprehensive patient care. Qualifications & Skills Board Certified/Eligible in GastroenterologyFellowship training in GI motility preferred, with certification or recommendationsStrong clinical skills in diagnostic testing and patient managementExperience in teaching and mentorship Key Duties Performing and interpreting motility diagnostic studiesManaging complex gastrointestinal disordersProviding outpatient and inpatient consultsTeaching and mentoring medical traineesEngaging in program development and research initiatives
