Physician - Gastroenterology

About the role

CHRISTUS Southern New Mexico in Alamogordo is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Gastroenterologist to join their established practice, serving as the region’s primary provider of digestive health services.

Responsibilities

• Full time position with 100% outpatient practice
• Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM; 1/2 day of admin hours
• Patient volume: 15-20 patients per day and 40-60 provider referrals
• Call: Shared, 2 locums providers currently practicing
• J-1 and H-1B sponsorship available

Requirements

• Board-certified or board-eligible by ABIM or AAOBIM
• GI fellowship trained
• Must possess an unrestricted New Mexico Medical License or be eligible to be licensed in the state of New Mexico

Qualifications

• Must be eligible for licensure in the state of New Mexico

Skills

• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong clinical skills
