Role Overview: Seeking a BC/BE General Gastroenterologist specializing in complex inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). The candidate will join a team providing outpatient, inpatient, and endoscopy services, with opportunities for teaching, mentorship, research, and leadership within a well-established, high-volume regionally recognized center. Responsibilities: Manage an existing IBD patient panel, provide outpatient and inpatient care, perform endoscopies, participate in team-based patient management, and contribute to training medical students, residents, and fellows. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in surgery, radiology, and oncology. Engage in educational and research efforts to advance IBD care. Qualifications & Skills: BC/BE in Gastroenterology; fellowship training in Crohn’s and colitis preferred. Candidates may be new graduates or experienced practitioners. Strong clinical, teaching, and communication skills are essential. Key Duties: Provide consultation, outpatient clinics, endoscopic procedures, inpatient care, and participate in call rotation. Mentor trainees and contribute to a robust fellowship program. Engage in clinical, educational, and research initiatives to enhance patient care.
