About the role

Sutter East Bay Medical Group (SEBMG) is seeking a full-time Gastroenterologist physician in Antioch, CA. The position involves joining a well-established GI team in East Bay that offers a diverse patient base and varied work environments, including both outpatient and inpatient settings. The role also entails collaborative care with general surgery, primary care, and hospitalists.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient and outpatient services at an 80-bed acute-care hospital, ensuring equitable coverage among three gastroenterology partners.
• Manage outpatient clinic responsibilities during inpatient service weeks to maintain a manageable workload and achieve a good work-life balance.
• Participate in a multi-specialty medical group with over 300 clinicians, including physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants, practicing in 25+ specialties.

Requirements

Board certified and fellowship trained in Gastroenterology. Training or expertise in Motility, IBD, and Advanced Endoscopy is preferred but not required. Inpatient and outpatient experience is required.
