Physician Gastroenterologist
About the role
As a Level II Trauma center, Alaska Native Medical Center (ANMC) represents over 30 medical specialties and serves as the tertiary referral center for Alaska Native and American Indian people from across the state. The Gastroenterology team at ANMC manages outpatient and consults for adult inpatients, seeing 10-14 patients in office per day, 7-10 inpatient consults per week, and performing 15-25 procedures per week.
Responsibilities
- Manage outpatient and consults for adult inpatients
- Perform 15-25 procedures per week
- Work in clinic managing up to 14 patients per day
Requirements
- Board certified or board eligible in Gastroenterology
- Current Alaska Medical License
- Experience in Alaska Native and American Indian healthcare preferred
