Physician Fellow - Emergency Medicine Ultrasound Fellowship

Role Overview

Seeking Emergency Medicine Physicians for a dedicated Ultrasound Fellowship focused on enhancing ultrasound skills and clinical integration. The program offers hands-on training in image acquisition and interpretation, participation in ultrasound courses, and exposure to leadership at various levels. Graduates become eligible for specialty certification through the American Board of Emergency Medicine.

Responsibilities

• Develop expertise in ultrasound imaging and clinical application.
• Participate in educational activities, including local, regional, and international courses.
• Engage in leadership and quality improvement initiatives within the emergency department.

Qualifications & Skills

• Graduate of an accredited Emergency Medicine residency program.
• Board Certified or Eligible in Emergency Medicine.
• Ability to obtain a California medical license.
• Strong interest in ultrasound education and skill development.

Key Duties & Environment

• Work at a high-acuity Level I Trauma Center with extensive emergency services.
• Contribute to patient care in a busy ED serving over 100,000 annual visits.
• Participate in an accredited fellowship program with educational and leadership opportunities.
