Physician Fellow - Emergency Medicine Ultrasound Fellowship

About the role

Seeking Emergency Medicine Physicians for a specialized Ultrasound Fellowship at Riverside Community Hospital. The program offers dedicated training in ultrasound image acquisition, interpretation, and clinical integration, including participation in local, regional, and international courses. Fellows will gain exposure to leadership opportunities and enhance their ultrasound skills within a high-acuity Level I Trauma Center with a busy emergency department.

This fellowship prepares candidates for the Focused Practice Designation (FPD) exam through ABEM and offers career development within a supportive, physician-owned environment that values autonomy, teamwork, and community impact.

Responsibilities

• Develop expertise in emergency ultrasound techniques
• Participate in educational and leadership activities
• Contribute to patient care at a comprehensive, high-volume trauma center

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Emergency Medicine residency program
• Board Certified or Eligible in Emergency Medicine
• Ability to obtain a CA medical license
• Strong interest in ultrasound education and practice
