Physician Family Practice

About the role

A four-day work week with four 10-hour shifts for full-time physicians is offered. 32 patient contact hours and 8 hours of administrative time per week are provided. Telephone-only call coverage at 1:6 with 24/7 hospitalist support is included. A dedicated Medical Assistant (MA) and strong APP mid-level support are also part of the package.

The position offers national Health Service Corps student loan repayment site eligibility and part-time availability with benefits eligibility at 0.5 FTE. Board-certified Internal Medicine or Family Medicine is required, along with a DEA license. Background in military medicine is welcome.

Responsibilities

• Developing and maintaining positive relationships with patients
• Providing comprehensive medical care within the scope of practice
• Managing patient flow and scheduling appointments
• Collaborating with a dedicated MA and strong APP support
• Participating in 24/7 hospitalist coverage

Requirements

• Board-certified Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
• DEA license

Qualifications

• Experience in a military medicine setting is preferred
