WVUHS Medical Group seeks a Family Medicine Physician. The successful candidate will practice in Oakland, Maryland. This Primary Care physician is needed to serve under a grant awarded to a Faith Based Mission-driven Clinic in poverty-stricken area of Oakland, Maryland with a significant homeless population.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive and continuous care
- Offer preventative care
- Treat acute and chronic illness
- Manage medication
- Coordinate care with specialists
Qualifications
- Hold an MD or DO degree (or foreign equivalent) and be eligible to obtain a state medical license
- Have completed an accredited residency in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Med-Peds
- Be board certified or eligible in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Med-Peds
- Meet all qualifications at the time of appointment
