Physician - Family Medicine or Internal Medicine, Primary Care
Job Overview
We are offering employment opportunities to Internal or Family Medicine Physicians who are interested in providing high-quality clinical care to our patients in the diverse communities that we serve. Essential Functions
- Diagnosing and treating acute illnesses and chronic diseases and conditions
- Prescribing or administering medications, therapy, and other specialized medical care to treat or prevent illness, disease, or injury
- Explaining procedures and discussing test results or prescribed treatments with patients
- Maintaining detailed notes of appointments with patients, including comments, tests, and/or treatments prescribed, and test results
- Referring patients to other medical specialists, when necessary
- Providing compassionate and empathetic support and advice to patients regarding their health concerns
- Preparing official health documents or records, when necessary
- Participating in network activities such as Provider meetings, Grand Rounds, and training sessions
Qualifications
- Bilingual English and Chinese required.
- MD or DO from accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine.
- Internal Medicine or Family Medicine board-certified or board-eligible.
- Current and unrestricted New York State license.
- DEA required.
