About the role

The successful candidate will join the Family Medicine practice serving our Coastal Maine communities. They will work in a dynamic team where Family Medicine and Obesity Medicine come together to transform patient care. Physicians practicing a subset of Obesity Medicine are strongly encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive primary care services to patients in a variety of settings
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and research projects
  • Contribute to the education and training of medical students, residents, and fellows

Requirements

  • MD/DO from an accredited medical school
  • Board Certification/Eligibility
  • Active and unrestricted DEA license, or ability to obtain prior to employment

Qualifications

  • Strong clinical skills and interpersonal abilities
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Skills

  • Effective problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Proficiency in using electronic health records systems
