Physician - Epilepsy Neurology
About the role
The Joint Commission recognizes Sanford Health as an Advanced Comprehensive Stroke Center. Clinic based practice M-F. Hospital Coverage is provided by neuro hospitalists. The Epilepsy Monitoring Unit has dedicated reading time for EEGs. The department consists of 3 fellowship-trained epilepsy neurologists and 14 additional neurologists with subspecialty representation in various fields. There are also 8 advanced practice providers supporting the outpatient practice.
Responsibilities
Obtain an academic appointment at UND School of Medicine and Health Sciences with an opportunity to collaborate with basic scientists and to educate medical students and residents. Participate in the Neurology Residency Program with 3 residents per year. Serve a patient population of 1 million over 200,000 square miles across North Dakota and Minnesota. The metro area population is 240,000.

Qualifications
- BC/BE neurologist with fellowship training in Epilepsy
