Responsibilities
- Provide visionary leadership to advance excellence in pediatric cardiology across clinical, academic, and educational domains
- Develop and support a robust research enterprise, including clinical, translational, and outcomes-based investigations
- Recruit, mentor, and promote faculty, fostering academic career development and scholarly achievement
- Expand educational programs for medical students, residents, and fellows, with a strong commitment to teaching and mentorship
- Lead strategic program development and regional outreach to enhance access, quality, and innovation in congenital heart care
- Represent the division in national academic societies and contribute to collaborative research networks and multicenter initiatives
- Engage in institutional leadership and contribute to the broader mission of the health system and affiliated academic programs
Qualifications
- Candidate must have an MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent and be eligible for state medical license
- Successful candidate must have completed a pediatrics residency program, as well as a pediatric cardiology fellowship program
- Successful candidates must be board certified in Pediatric Cardiology and eligible for academic appointment at the associate or full professor level
- The ideal candidate will bring a collaborative leadership style with the ability to integrate clinical, research, and educational priorities, along with a strong commitment to advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion within academic medicine
