Position Overview

The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center is seeking a BC/BE physiatrist for an outpatient position with unlimited potential for growth. The ideal candidate would have experience and proficiency in prosthetic, orthotics, assistive device prescription, and evaluation of musculoskeletal conditions and gait analysis. Academic rank and track are commensurate with academic record and experience. Department/Division Overview

Outpatient services are provided at the Martha Morehouse Outpatient Care Center. The Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Department is ranked #1 in Columbus and #37 in the nation by U.S. News & World Report. The residency program is ranked 24th through Doximity Residency Navigator.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the outpatient limb loss therapy team and the Military Medicine plastic surgery team
  • Contribute to training, research, and other scholarly pursuits
  • Represent the program or Department by participating in committees, conferences, and professional meetings
  • Practice within the established Medical Center and standards of practice (policies, procedures, protocols)

Requirements

  • MD or DO
  • Successful completion of an accredited PM&R Residency Program
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in PM&R
  • Eligible for an Ohio Medical License
