Physician- Cytopathologist / Surgical Pathologist

About the role

The Department of Pathology at The MetroHealth System seeks a full-time Anatomic Pathologist with fellowship training in Cytopathology. Priority will be given to candidates with additional qualifications in a surgical pathology subspecialty.

Responsibilities

• Provide diagnostic services to patients in the MetroHealth System network.
• Contribute to resident and medical student teaching.
• Participate in clinical or translational research.

Requirements

• Hold an MD or DO degree with American Board of Pathology certification or eligibility in Anatomic Pathology or Cytopathology.
• Be board-certified or board-eligible for the cytopathology boards.
• Hold an unrestricted medical license in Ohio.

Qualifications

• Experience in Anatomic Pathology with fellowship training in Cytopathology.
• Prioritization for candidates with additional qualifications in a surgical pathology subspecialty.
