Responsibilities

• Manage ICU admissions and co‑manage admits with the Hospital Medicine team
• Run codes while in‑house
• Perform procedures: intubations, central lines, arterial lines, hemodialysis catheters, chest tubes
• Provide tele‑critical care coverage shared with Delano and Tehachapi Valley sites
• Possible cross‑coverage between Bakersfield Specialty and Delano Regional Medical Center

Requirements

• Board Eligible or Board Certified Critical Care physician
• Residency training in Internal Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or Anesthesiology
• Current California state license (preferred)

Pay

• Up to $100,000 sign‑on bonus for qualified candidates
• Estimated annual base compensation: $275,000 – $900,000 (varies by site, specialty, clinical volume, schedule, and experience)
• Part‑time and per diem compensation prorated based on clinical hours worked
• Participation in the partnership model includes profit distributions, equity ownership, and K‑1 tax advantages; total compensation may exceed the base range
