About the role
Ochsner Health is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Classical Hematologist. Ochsner MD Anderson Cancer Center is one of only seven MD Anderson Cancer Center partners in the country and the only one in Louisiana.
Responsibilities
- Providing teaching opportunities
- Competitive compensation package and minimal after hours call responsibilities
- Unique practice design with virtual consult coverage supporting inpatient and outpatient care, an innovative eConsult platform (allows for some weeks of flexibility working from home)
- Hematology fellowship and in addition to 3 year combined fellowship (total 16 fellows)

- Pathology support, apheresis and blood bank team, continuously growing in house lab capability (includes factor levels, inhibitor studies) pursuing site accreditation for gene therapies
Requirements
Candidates must be board certified or board eligible in hematology.
