Ochsner Health is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Hematologist. Responsibilities

• Achieve inpatient and outpatient patient care responsibilities
• Participate in or develop clinical research studies
• Teach fellows and residents
• Contribute to the development of the program

Requirements

• ACGME 2 year Classical Hematology fellowship in addition to 3 year combined fellowship (total 16 fellows)
• Unique practice design with virtual consult coverage supporting inpatient and outpatient care and an innovative econsult platform
• Highly trained advanced practitioner resource support
• Dedicated Classical Hematology Team without malignant hematology or oncology care responsibilities
• Educational and research opportunities
• Pathology support, apheresis and blood bank team, continuously growing in house lab capability (includes factor levels, inhibitor studies)
• Pursuing site accreditation for gene therapies

Qualifications

• Board Certified/Board Eligible in hematology
