Physician Case Deployment Specialist

Responsibilities

  • Complete the daily distribution of next day scheduling for IONM (Intraoperative Neuromonitoring) services.
  • Maintain a structured balance of case concurrency and case complexity per Remote Neuromonitoring Physicians (RNP).
  • Coordinate and confirm RNP case assignments, considering client needs, payor requirements, RNP availability, and other time conflicts.
  • Schedule relief cases as needed.
  • Communicate confirmed schedules to RNPs, clients, vendors, and management via phone calls and emails.
  • Ensure RNP case assignment information is up-to-date and accessible to all team members.
  • Document scheduled cases in the Clinical Decision Support (CDS) system regularly.
  • Monitor the live case load on Bomgar and ensure all cases are picked up promptly.
  • Respond professionally and promptly to client inquiries regarding scheduling.
  • Research, resolve, and communicate scheduling issues with relevant parties as necessary.
  • Aid in maximizing revenue by collaborating with medical groups, FP&A, and operations.
  • Aid in case re-assignment during periods of critical care need.
  • Complete scheduling for all IONM next day scheduling.
  • Review and balance case concurrency and complexity.
  • Aid in process improvement efforts.
  • Attend monthly and quarterly team meetings.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or G.E.D.
  • Associates degree (A.S. or A.A.) preferred.
  • Two (2) years of experience in a business office function or experience, education, and/or understanding of IONM preferred.
  • Experience in a healthcare-related scheduling/dispatch position, preferred.
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience is acceptable.
  • Knowledge and skills: effectively applying common sense understanding, dealing with problems, accuracy, excellent written and oral communication, handling antagonistic situations, paying attention to details, decision-making, interpersonal skills, organizational abilities, self-motivation, teamwork, care, and improvement.

Pay

$16.20 - $25.04 / hour (Several factors, such as specific skill set, education level, certifications, and years of experience, are considered to determine actual compensation.)
