Physician Associate/Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Head & Neck Scarborough, ME
Maine Health Maine Medical Center Otolaryngology Scarborough is seeking a full-time (1.00 FTE/40 hrs.) Physician Associate or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner to join the practice. This role focuses on clinical and procedural general ENT with a sub-specialty in head and neck surgical oncology and reconstructive surgery. The position involves working in diverse settings, including the operating room, hospital, and clinic.
About the Role
The successful applicant will have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently after an initial training period. Preference will be given to individuals with training or experience in surgery, oncology, or critical care, though it is not required. For APRN applicants, RNFA certification is preferred but not required at the time of hiring.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree and Master’s Degree required.
- Successful completion of an accredited Physician Associate or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner program.
- Appropriate credentials to evaluate and treat patients of all ages in ambulatory and acute care settings (MMC).
- For Acute Care Nurse Practitioners, Registered Nurse First Assistant (RNFA) credential preferred.
- Ability to see patients of all ages in both ambulatory and hospital/acute care settings.
- Current license issued by the State of Maine or eligibility for licensure.
- Current BLS certification.
Pay
The annual salary range for this position at 1.00 FTE is $122,570 to $158,620. Total compensation packages may include recruitment payments, relocation assistance, shift differentials, productivity-based incentives, quality incentives, and other premiums based on eligibility.
