Physician Associate/Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Nocturnist Hospital Medicine Portland, ME

MaineHealth Maine Medical CenterHospital is seeking a full-time Physician Associate (PA) or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP) Nocturnist to care for patients in the hospital.
About the role
The role includes Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) evaluating and treating patients primarily on the hospital medicine ward but also include completing admissions as well as providing consultative services to the various sub-specialties within the hospital including the emergency department. The APP will work collaboratively with members of the multidisciplinary team of physicians, nursing staff, care management, and ancillary services to ensure optimal patient care.
Responsibilities
- Evaluating and treating patients on the hospital medicine ward
- Completing admissions as needed
- Providing consultative services to various sub-specialties within the hospital
- Collaborating with the multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient care
- Participating in quality initiative programs within the department of hospital medicine
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and successful completion of accredited Physician Associate or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner program
- Current license issued by the State of Maine or eligible for licensure
- Experience in Hospital Medicine is required

Schedule
This position offers a .90 FTE schedule.
Pay
The annual salary range for this position is $141,359 to $182,934.
