About the role
The provider will work alongside two physicians and one APRN in a collaborative environment focused on providing excellent care to patients throughout the Eureka area. As part of our medical team, this provider will have the opportunity to help guide patient care, utilize Greenwood County Hospital services, and participate as an active member of our multidisciplinary medical staff with voting privileges at medical staff meetings.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers to develop and implement patient care plans
- Perform physical exams, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and provide treatment recommendations
- Participate in medical staff meetings and contribute to the development of clinical policies and procedures
- Provide patient education and counseling on various health topics
- Utilize Greenwood County Hospital services to support patient care
Requirements
- Current license to practice as a Physician Assistant or Advanced Practice Registered Nurse in the state of Colorado
- At least 1-2 years of relevant experience in a clinical setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies or Master's degree in Nursing with an emphasis in advanced practice
- Completion of an accredited Physician Assistant program or nursing program leading to an APRN credential
- Passing scores on the Physician Assistant National Certifying Examination (PANCE) or the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses (NCLEX-RN)

Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m., with scheduled lunch breaks
