Physician Assistant, OB/GYN
About the role
The incoming OB/GYN PA will work independently in collaboration with a team of MDs in an inpatient setting on our Labor and Delivery/Maternity unit.
Responsibilities
- Deliver care in Labor & Delivery unit, Maternity, L&D Triage, Inpatient Rounding for GYN, ER consults, and first assist in OR cases
- 36 hours per week; three - 12 hour shifts
- Day/Night Rotating including weekends
- No call required
- Teaching opportunities are available as well as involvement with ongoing quality improvement initiatives
Requirements
- Fully integrated EMR (Epic)
- Experience in Obstetrics/Gynecology is preferred
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies from an accredited program
- Current Massachusetts license as a Physician Assistant
- Current DEA prescription drug authorization
- Current CPR certification
