Physician Assistant, OB/GYN

About the role

The incoming OB/GYN PA will work independently in collaboration with a team of MDs in an inpatient setting on our Labor and Delivery/Maternity unit.

Responsibilities

• Deliver care in Labor & Delivery unit, Maternity, L&D Triage, Inpatient Rounding for GYN, ER consults, and first assist in OR cases
• 36 hours per week; three - 12 hour shifts
• Day/Night Rotating including weekends
• No call required
• Teaching opportunities are available as well as involvement with ongoing quality improvement initiatives

Requirements

• Fully integrated EMR (Epic)
• Experience in Obstetrics/Gynecology is preferred

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies from an accredited program
• Current Massachusetts license as a Physician Assistant
• Current DEA prescription drug authorization
• Current CPR certification

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
