About the Role
Provide primary medical care as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner Float within occupational health clinics, adapting to changing clinical needs across locations.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive medical assessments
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests
- Perform therapeutic procedures
- Counsel patients and develop management plans
- Ensure quality, patient-centered care
- Provide excellent customer service
- Maintain accurate and confidential documentation
- Support policy development and participate in educational programs
- Collaborate with medical teams and adhere to clinical protocols
- Manage time effectively in a busy clinical environment
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related health field
- Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies (for PAs)
- Valid state licensure and certification (PANCE for PAs)
- Experience in occupational medicine, urgent care, or emergency settings
- Strong clinical, communication, and decision-making skills
- Commitment to confidentiality, patient-centered care, and ongoing education
